Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how vandenbunt.com (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.
1. Who we are
vandenbunt.com is a business established in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42069579. For any privacy-related questions you can reach us at contact@vandenbunt.com. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form data — your name, email address, and the contents of your message, which you provide voluntarily when contacting us.
- Technical and usage data — aggregated, anonymised analytics about how the website is used (for example pages viewed), collected via Vercel Analytics. This does not use cookies and is not used to identify you.
3. Why we process your data and the legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide or quote our services — legal basis: your consent and/or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
- To maintain, secure, and improve our website — legal basis: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How your data is handled
Messages submitted through our contact form are forwarded to our project management tool, Linear, where they are stored as an enquiry so we can follow up. We use the following processors who act on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and analytics.
- Linear Orbit, Inc. — handling and tracking of contact enquiries.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and for any subsequent business relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@vandenbunt.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its “last updated” date.
